An international exhibition of felt textile art that has been touring Europe since its opening in Prato, Italy in May 2010. A collaboration by three major organisations dedicated to the promotion of the art of feltmaking: The International Feltmakers Association, Fitz-Netzwerk e.V (Germany) and Coordinamento Tessitori (Italy).
The exhibition theme, climate change, explores the impact of human actions on the environment - one of the most pressing issues facing the world today. Artists across the world were invited to express these themes through their work, inspired by possibly local concerns or choosing to reflect global issues.
This exhibition will be split-site with Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre in Cwmbran.
A number of educational workshops, artists talks and gallery discussions will accompany the exhibition. The exhibition will be formally opened on Friday 27th April by felt maker and exhibitor, Liz Clay.

'My work focusses on our relationship with the environment, bringing together my background in art, evolutionary genetics and my understanding of the span of geological time. Man is changing the world through his actions, taking our planet back to the conditions that existed before life began. I try to focus on the reality of what is happening around us.'
