An exhibition by three well-known South Wales practitioners, Christine Gittins, Mandy Nash and Valerie Coffin Price. 

 

The focus of the show will be individual works with a common technical approach. All three artists have been experimenting with laser cutting technology to expand the parameters of their practice. The works will be in a variety of media namely, ceramics, Perspex, textiles and aluminium.

Christine Gittins will be producing new work especially for the exhibition. She will be using a different colour palette combined with geometric elements obtained from laser cut stencils.

Mandy Nash will be showing the results of her recent experiments with laser cutting creating fabric jewellery and felt accessories.

Valerie Coffin Price will be exhibiting works from her Intimate Cartographies series, including laser cut and digitally printed Perspex and aluminium.

The exhibition will be in the Members Showcase area of the retail gallery at Craft in the Bay.
