I have been making salt-glaze stoneware for twenty-five years. In the kiln the pots are enhanced by the rich and varied surface qualities of the unique effects of the salt firing: a rich orange peel surface, a soft satin sheen or a hint of lustre. I am inspired by the natural world and the colours, patterns and textures in landscapes and on shorelines.
