Making and elaborating a simple linen/cotton garment (pattern provided) using a variety of textural sewing techniques and design features; piping, pleating, cording and pin pleats, pockets, panels, binding and deep seams.
We will covver a variety of techniques - all can be used to add texture, interest, character and quirk to any garment, for function and beautification. for the purposes of the course, we will be making a tunic, but will be playing and elaborating with the basic unit to everyone's heart's content!

It is advisable to bring along your own sewing machine. We do have a few machines available for loan if needed. Please let us know when you make your booking.
Please bring a basic sewing kit and a sharp pair of dressmaking scissors.
