Design and make an exciting original book wrap/book cover (approximately A5 size) with pages for a personal journal whilst exploring a wide range of creative techniques.

Starting with a base fabric of calico, you will be able to explore mixed media techniques to build up layers of fabric and rich embellishment. Working by hand and machine. We have sewing machines available here but you may prefer to bring your own.  The cover of your book will be lined and you will be shown how to prepare and attach pages.

A book to treasure - for use as a travel journal, for capturing memorabilia and photographs, or as a sketchbook.

All fabrics will be provided but you are welcome to bring any small bits of interesting fabrics, lace, beads or embellishment you would like to incorporate into your work.

Suitable for all ability levels.

We have a loading bay at the rear of the building for you to drop off your machine at the start of the day.
