
Learn how to create your own fabulous fabrics with a multitude of techniques that are easy to achieve and very transferable for use at home/school/college. We will use heat transfer dyes and crayons to paint/draw our designs onto paper and then transfer it onto your fabric.
A variety of methods for colouring papers included as well as shibori, heat setting techniques and the use of thickened dyes for lino block or leaf printing.
You will finish the workshop with a range of sample pieces which could be incorporated into your creative projects, embroideries, quilts, etc.
Bring any of your own blocks, stamps, thermofax screens, silk screens and stencils, as well as sketch books, photos, drawings or other inspiration for your design development.
Gloves and an apron/old clothes essential. Your own basic art kit is useful. All textiles and chemicals supplied.

All equipment and materials will be provided.
