A Celebration of Margo
Welcome to our fundraising exhibition of ‘all things green’ in memory of our dear friend and colleague Margo Schmidt.
From childhood Margo’s favourite colour was green, with lime green being her ultimate go-to colour! We all knew her for wearing fabulous green tones – even her coffee mug here at the gallery is of course lime green!
Margo was so well loved by our team of staff, guild members and volunteers but also by her colleagues and students at Cardiff School of Art where she taught ceramics and was so encouraging and supportive to emerging makers.
Our fabulous guild members have very generously donated work to our fundraising exhibition in memory of Margo. We also have Margo's own collection of coil built pots and hand thrown vessels kindly donated by Margo's family. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre in Cardiff.
