Description

Hand modelled ceramic bird. Decorated with oxides and glaze.


Each of Jan's ceramic animals are one-off designs, hand built and modelled in clay using slab building techniques with sgraffito decoration. She is particularly interested in how animals move and behave, capturing here the proud posture of this garden bird. Jan works from her studio in Cardiff and is a founder member of the Makers Guild Wales.
