FUNDRAISING to Update our Community Spaces

Exciting News! We're updating our ground floor community spaces in the New Year '26. These new spaces will allow us to offer new exciting craft workshops and community programmes in 2026
Craft in the Bay  will be open as normal throughout.
Lots of work behind the scenes to get to this point, but special thanks to funding from #ArtsCouncilWales and #TheWelshChurchActFund

Donate to Help

We are updating our ground floor spaces, allowing us to expand our hugely popular community projects, our craft workshops and our creative programming. We are grateful for our main funders for their generosity in providing the bulk of the funding required, We need your help to reach our grand total, you can help us by donating below.
Are you in a position to help?

Our Workshop spaces

Our workshop spaces are utilised by our community, for Craft workshops, community meetings and as a place to encourage apprecitation of the benefits of crafting in terms of lifeskills and mental health. We are expanding our reach ,expanding on our hugely popular previous programmes. but we need your help to do this!

Our Community Work

Our organisation is made by our communities, and our work celebrates this, through our; Makers - a vibrant making community covering ever corner of Wales; Audiences who visit to see our Nationally significant exhibitions of Craft, and our place within our Local community of Butetown, historically, one of Wales most  diverse communities.

Demand for our projects is growing, through our exciting community projects, such as our 'Connect through Craft' project which focuses on our local Butetown community, it was was heavily over subscribed, with attendance up from a predicted 408 to 571. We want to be able to offer more people the chance to take part, and by expanding and updating our community spaces we can do this, so please do help us by donating if you can!
