LISA-MARIE TANN
About
Lisa-Marie Tann lives and works in Cardiff, South Wales. She completed her degree in Ceramic and Design at Howard Gardens, and as with many artists, she combines her arts practice with teaching. Lisa-Marie uses her surroundings as a source of inspiration; for example the exposed rock strata found in the cliffs on the South Wales coast, the landscapes of the Brecon Beacons, and reflections found in rivers and the Bay.
Texture, imagery and colour are vital elements in the work and she combines photographic imagery, and found objects with layers of slips, glazes, metals, combustible materials and glass, with multiple firings.
