We are now open, we welcome everyone to visit us during our new opening hours.
Entry is Free at all times. You can also now book in advance. To Book in advance We offer standard General Admission tickets between our new opening hours, or we offer Private Admission tickets outside of our normal opening hours for those who require privacy, additional reassurance or who are vulnerable. We are a small charity and we are reliant on our visitors to thrive, so please only book if you really do want to visit, and if you are unable attend your booked time, please let us know as soon as you can. Arriving by Vehicle
From the West:
Leave M4 at Junction 33, follow A4232 to Cardiff Bay
From the East:
Leave M4 at Junction 29; take 3rd Exit off A48; follow signs to Cardiff Bay
Parking your car
We have no parking on site but there are several options very close to the gallery.
- Red Dragon Centre - Reasonable rates available for shorter visits.
- Q-Park Cardiff (also known as Pierhead Street carpark)
- Mermaid Quay
- Park and Ride Scheme - For parking at weekends, Cardiff Council operate a Park and Ride Scheme in County Hall, this can often be the cheapest option for parking in Cardiff Bay at weekends.
Arriving by Coach or Minibus - Cardiff Council coach parking bays are available to the rear of our building on Lloyd George Avenue.
Arriving by Train - We are a one minute walk from Cardiff Bay train station with services from Cardiff Queen Street Station running regularly. Connections for trains from Cardiff Central Station are available from all over the UK.
Arriving by Bus - Services between Cardiff City Centre and Cardiff Bay are frequent, our nearest Cardiff Bus bus stop is 'The Flourish'
Arriving by Boat - Cardiff Aquabus operates between Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay, Penarth (the Barrage) and Cardiff city centre.
Deliveries: If you are delivering to the gallery, follow the above directions to the gallery. There is a loading bay located at the back of the building. Please contact us prior to delivery for further details.
