Decay
Textiles, wire, solder, card, yarn, and beads
The piece is about acid rain and the slow decay over time which we don’t notice until it is too late. We don’t see the effects of the damage created within ourselves until it’s overwhelming. The pieces explore different materials showing decay. Creating holes in different mediums represents the disintegrating from acid rain.

Stages of Metamorphosis
Clay, glaze
My work reflects on the movement of landscape and the geological patterns which emerge from the erosions and metamorphosis over millennia. I have used ceramic with layers of glazes which build up layers to echo the strata in the landscape I have observe.

Untitled
Paper, hot-melt adhesive, wire, clay, found materials.
In response to the theme of ‘Happening Times’, I have created a 3D mixed media piece. This represents the concept of self-preservation, and creating a barrier between yourself, and the negativity that surrounds us. I have used natural materials to portray peace, calm, and serenity from within.
