TREES THAT MAKE...

Putting the spotlight on artists whose work had not only been inspired by trees but also uses materials from the many different elements of a tree - it's bark, leaves, trunk, branches, seeds.... Approaches to making included carving, construction, woodblock print, weaving, steam bending, natural dye and print in textiles.

Printmaker Kathleen Littler held a number of wood engraving demonstrations and taster sessions in the gallery.
